Pierre's musical endeavour started in 1965 when he played first clarinet in the school stage band in Montréal. He was soon noticed for his persistance and his great musical sense. He then follow a path that brought him to study private with various teachers and later on went to McGill university as a jazz performance major. His musical carreer really started in 1975 when he did many appearances on local television as a sideman for many local canadian artists.

In the '80s he did his first album with a group called Agharta which was featured in the first ''Festival International de Jazz de Montréal'', a jazz–fusion band very much influenced by Weather Report. Agharta toured in many jazz venues in Quebec.

After Agharta he formed a group called ''Jouga'' with percussionnist Michel Séguin (Van Morisson, Don Alias). In the '90s as a musical director, he created a world-beat group called ''Anoosh'' which featured armenian singer/percussionnist Raffi Niziblian. The group toured in Europe and played in the prestigious '' Womad '' world of music and dance festival founded by Peter Gabriel and Thomas Brooman. Anoosh produced an album in 1992 and received a Juno Awards (canadian grammy!) nomination as best world-beat album. Pierre then participated as a freelance musician in many blues and R&B cover bands and finally teamed up with Jean-François Fabiano (Gato Barbieri, Jean-Luc Ponty) to form the ''World Unit'' composed of many of the finest world-beat and jazz mucians in Montréal, this group made an apparition on ARTV tv show called ''New World Symphony''

In 2007 Pierre produced and realised ''Storias'' a really modern acid-jazz oriented album.

With the group ''Storias'' he played in many venues in Montréal.

Since 2008 Pierre's has been mostly working as an arranger/composer for various artists:

Choirs, singers, theater, dance companies and instrumentists combining a fresh approach to arranging and a mastering of music softwares.

Now established in Hong Kong were he really wants to participate artistically to the effervescence going on in this wonderful city by playing and creating new projects with local musicans. He would also love to bring his vast experience to the profit of Hong Kong young musicians. '' Music is applied philosophy '' he likes to say.'' You can express nice principles and values but in music, as a musician or a teacher, you make them happen''

Come and hear Pierre play in a solo performance where all his talent and vast experience will make you feel, ''the joy of sax''.
